Meatloaf with Brown Gravy - Two Versions

This is my favorite type of meatloaf and the thought of comfort food really sounds good.  I have not made a meatloaf in years and since I can't find most of my recipes due to hurricane stacks of boxes and files, I am on a mission to find the best one I can find.

VERSION 1

"Meatloaf with brown gravy is comfort food at its very best!  This meatloaf is incredibly moist and loaded with flavor from ground chuck, fresh thyme, garlic, and onion, and is topped with a brown mushroom gravy that just takes it over the top.  Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans, and use the leftovers for meatloaf sandwiches the next day."  Comment from Sip and Feast.

VERSION 2

"Meatloaf is surprisingly easy to make and great for a family meal. This recipe is a classic meatloaf recipe but you could also use this for one pound meatloafair fryer meatloaf or onion soup meatloaf with the gravy."  Comment from Food Lovin Family

The Best Flaky Buttermilk Biscuits and more

"We tried several versions of this recipe, including one with double the amount of baking powder. And while the biscuits turned out puffy and beautiful, they ultimately were too dry. So, we tweaked the baking powder amount along with the butter and buttermilk and arrived at these beauties — flaky, golden, tender and moist, just as biscuits should be."  Comment from Food Network Kitchen

Lunch Lady Peanut Butter Bars

"You have the lunch lady to thank for these old school cafeteria-style Peanut Butter Cookie Bars that have a chewy peanut butter oatmeal cookie base and a thin layer of salty-sweet melted peanut butter underneath those rich swirls of chocolate frosting."  Comment from House of Nash Eats, where Amy is serious about sweets!

A chocoholic's dream!  The photo says it all.

Banana Bread for One

"Banana bread can be quite addicting. And what I mean by that is that if you make an entire loaf of banana bread, you cut a slice and keep going back for more because it’s so good. That’s okay if you have plenty of people around to share your loaf. But sometimes you just want a little taste without having a big loaf at hand. And that’s why having a recipe for a mini loaf is so great. Keep it all to yourself, or share it with a friend!"  Comment from Recipe Girl

This one is perfect for me!  Thanks to Lori for this recipe!!
