Creole-Style Red Jambalaya With Chicken, Sausage, and Shrimp

"Red Creole jambalaya is a New Orleans classic, loaded with meats, seafood, and tomatoes. A trip to the oven guarantees you don't end up with a burnt layer of rice on the bottom of your pot."  Comment from Serious Eats

This jambalaya looks delicious.  I'll be making this soon!

Our Best Jambalaya

"While Southerners may differ on what exactly makes jambalaya, there’s no arguing that it is a classic dish rooted in the South. While most jambalayas are made with rice cooked with ham, sausage, chicken, shrimp, or oysters and seasoned with herbs, some recipes call for tomatoes or celery, while others do not. Our Best Jambalaya recipe is a delicious mix of andouille sausage, chicken, and shrimp, and takes just an hour to make."  Comment from Southern Living

This is another dish that I have wanted to try for a long but never have.  My hesitation is the andouille sausage and whether I will like it or not.  I was thinking of making this jambalaya recipe with italian sausage.  If I do, I will leave my results with the italian sausage or the andouille sausage.
