Bobby's Goulash

I've never had goulash, but this recipe reminds me of chili mac without the beans.  Love one pot meals!

The reviews of this recipe were mixed about the seasonings. Many said they would not use as much salt the next time they made it.  I suggest adding the seasonings a little at a time, tasting each time.

Thanksgiving Ideas and Tips

For years and years, JR (my first husband) and I hosted Thanksgiving for friends and family.  It was a highlight of my life, I absolutely loved doing all that cooking and so did JR.  We had a ball preparing for the event.  Since we live in subtropical Florida, we set up seating areas outdoors, everything was served buffet style and actually very easy doing it that way.  We did not have to wait on anyone, everything was set out for them and they helped themselves.  Of course, it took lots of work to prepare, but we got to enjoy the event along with our guests. What a fun time . . . those were the days!

Southern Living has an excellent, extensive Thanksgiving section with great ideas and tips for Thanksgiving, including planning, hosting and recipes.  Many of the recipes are the traditional ones with a twist, very interesting.
