Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Photo source:  Life Love and Good Food

"What I absolutely love about air fryer fried chicken wings is that there’s no messy breading stations, no vats of oil, and no babysitting the stove like there is with deep frying.

Just a quick toss with pantry spices, a little baking powder for extra crispiness, and the air fryer does the heavy lifting! The result is crispy skin, juicy meat, and a flavor that stands up all on its own, even before you add sauce!"  Comment from Life Love and Good Food

Delicious and easy air fryer chicken wings are perfect for a party.  Air fryer recipes are so much faster and my new alternative to the stove.

Collection of Salad Dressing Recipes

Why use store-brought commercial salad dressing when it is so easy to make homemade dressing?  It is so much better, you control the ingredients and you can tweak it to your family's taste.

Salad dressings are not just for salad anymore . . . I love baked chicken and potatoes drenched in italian dressing and stir fry chicken made with asian salad dressing.  Experiment and you will be surprised with the results!

Cinnamon Banana Bread

"I always get a little excited when I stumble across some neglected bananas because that means it’s time to make my favorite cinnamon banana bread! This recipe has been a staple in my house for many years, and it’s a little bit unconventional… but that’s what makes it so special. I make my easy banana bread with bread flour for a moist and dense crumb and ultra-chewy texture that’s unlike any other quick bread. My loaf is rich with plenty of mashed bananas and has just a touch of cinnamon for warmth. This one’s a keeper!"  Comment from Easy Dessert Recipes

The addition of cinnamon to banana bread sounds awesome.  Love finding another version of banana bread that I can try out since it is one of my favorites.

Steamed Tilapia in Wine Sauce

"I developed this recipe while working at a local winery. Fast and easy to prepare, it became an instant classic at my house. I use a lively dry pear wine in the sauce and recommend avoiding those wines that are sweet or semisweet. —Tenneille Brewer, Fayette, New York"  Comment from Tenneille Brewer, Fayette, New York for Taste of Home

This steamed tilapia recipe looks good even though I don't normally cook with wine.  I would like to give it a try.

Meatloaf with Brown Gravy - Two Versions

This is my favorite type of meatloaf and the thought of comfort food really sounds good.  I have not made a meatloaf in years and since I can't find most of my recipes due to hurricane stacks of boxes and files, I am on a mission to find the best one I can find.

VERSION 1

"Meatloaf with brown gravy is comfort food at its very best!  This meatloaf is incredibly moist and loaded with flavor from ground chuck, fresh thyme, garlic, and onion, and is topped with a brown mushroom gravy that just takes it over the top.  Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans, and use the leftovers for meatloaf sandwiches the next day."  Comment from Sip and Feast.

VERSION 2

"Meatloaf is surprisingly easy to make and great for a family meal. This recipe is a classic meatloaf recipe but you could also use this for one pound meatloafair fryer meatloaf or onion soup meatloaf with the gravy."  Comment from Food Lovin Family

"We tried several versions of this recipe, including one with double the amount of baking powder. And while the biscuits turned out puffy and beautiful, they ultimately were too dry. So, we tweaked the baking powder amount along with the butter and buttermilk and arrived at these beauties — flaky, golden, tender and moist, just as biscuits should be."  Comment from Food Network Kitchen
