Fudgy Chocolate Dump Cake

Photo source:  Better Homes and Gardens

"Rich and fudgy, this dump cake recipe is a chocolate-lovers dream. For the most decadent flavor and texture, this chocolate dump cake recipe calls for both cake mix and pudding. Top the baked cake with semisweet chocolate chips and serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream."  Comment from Better Homes and Gardens

Looks delicious!

Hush Puppies

"Every Southerner knows that a plate of fried shrimp or fish is not complete without a basket of hot hush puppies. Hush puppies are such a beloved tradition that they can be found in divey barbecue joints and even in upscale Southern restaurants, made with artisanal cornmeal and additions like fresh herbs or pork belly."  comment from Southern Living

Hush puppies is something I could eat like a snack and eat them all!  Fried shrimp is not the same without hush puppies.

Carrabba’s Champagne Chicken

"I saw a commercial for Carrabba’s new Champagne Chicken dish and it looked delicious.  I stumbled across the recipe on our local Fox station’s website and decided to give it a try. OMG! This tasted fantastic! We both thought it was restaurant quality."  Comment from Plain Chicken

This chicken looks delicious!  I've never had it at Carrabba's, but I will definitely make this.

Creamy Garlic Noodles {Homemade Pasta Roni}

"Creamy Garlic Noodles {Homemade Pasta Roni} – SOOO much better than the boxed stuff. We make this all the time. Easy and super delicious! Everything is made in the same pot! Ready in about 15 minutes. You’ll never use the boxed stuff again." Comment from Plain Chicken

Love it!  I would make a meal of these noodles, maybe throw in some shrimp along with the cheese mixture.  Looks delicious and I will be trying this soon.

Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin

"The BEST Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin Recipe – tender, juicy, and packed with flavor! Effortless to make and perfectly cooked every single time. Great for busy weeknights or special dinners."  Comment from Plain Chicken

The cooking time for making a pork tenderloin recipe is unbelievable and I love it.  Big difference than cooking it the traditional way and I will be cooking mine in the air fryer from now on.  Thank you Stephanie!

Tiramisu Cheesecake Dessert

"Layers of vanilla wafers soaked in coffee-infused syrup, creamy cheesecake filling, and a finishing touch of whipped topping and cocoa—this tiramisu cheesecake combines simplicity and sophistication in every bite."  Comment from Taste of Home

Lasagna Casserole

"All the traditional flavor of lasagna, with none of the fuss. We've simplified the layers in this lasagna casserole so the dish comes together more quickly.

Lasagna is already a one-dish casserole, so you might be wondering what’s new about this lasagna casserole recipe. It all boils down to prep time. A traditional lasagna can take up to an hour to prepare, which doesn’t exactly capture the ease I usually associate with casseroles. In this version, the layers are simplified to bring that prep time down to 15 minutes."  Comment from Taste of Home

Love the simplicity of using jarred sauce or the option of homemade pasta sauce.  The only thing I would substitute is ricotta for the cottage cheese.  All in a casserole is a great idea.  Love it!

Ham Ravioli Bake

"With shortcuts ingredients like leftover cooked ham, frozen cheese ravioli and jarred Alfredo sauce, this family-friendly ham ravioli bake comes together in a flash."  Comment from Taste of Home

This recipe is truly a semi-homemade meal that looks like you spent hours making.  Love that it is a great meal for using leftover ham, too.  Looks delicious!

Spicy Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo

"Spicy Shrimp Alfredo feels like a special dish (because it is!), but with jarred Alfredo sauce it's completely obtainable for even novice cooks."  Comment from Taste of Home

I often use jarred sauce when I just don't feel like cooking sauce for hours.  Of course the sauce cooked for hours is better, but the jarred sauce is a great substitute.

There's more . . . if you want to cook it from scratch.

"Instead of buying a jar of sauce, make it from scratch for this easy shrimp Alfredo recipe. The garlic aroma will call your family to the table."  Comment from Taste of Home Test Kitchen

Love the idea of a mint flavored brownie-like cookie!  I had no idea that Andes Mint Chips exist.  What a great idea and would be a good alternative to chocolate chips or include both in a chocolate chip cookie.  Thanks to Melissa of Bless This Mess for this recipe.

Banana Bread Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

"If there’s a single dessert that bridges the gap between “weeknight easy” and “company worthy,” it’s this Banana Bread Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. Think: the familiar comfort of classic banana bread, but lighter, taller, and more tender like cake—finished with a cool, tangy swoop of cream cheese frosting. It’s the kind of bake that perfumes the whole house, slices cleanly for potlucks, and pairs perfectly with a mug of coffee or tea."  Comment from ajgreats.com

This Banana Bread Cake looks delicious . . . and the Cream Cheese Frosting makes it impossible for me to ignore.  I've never seen this type of cake before and I love the idea.  Would love to try it soon!

Better Than Starbucks Lemon Loaf Copycat Recipe

"Confession time: I’m not a Starbucks coffee fan. It’s strong, burnt, and just not my thing. But that lemon loaf? Swoon. Moist, bright, and perfectly sweet-tart. When my daughter-in-law sent me this Starbucks lemon loaf copycat recipe, I was hooked. It’s every bit as good—no, better—and costs a fraction to make. Plus, it features a surprising secret ingredient that truly makes all the difference."  Comment by Everyday Cheapskate

Although I have never had the Starbucks Lemon Loaf, I love lemon cakes.  So, if Mary of Everyday Cheapskate likes the copycat recipe, I'd be inclined to give it a try.

Country Potato Pancakes

"These potato pancakes are really versatile. They can be a side dish for just about any meal or the main course for a light meal. Potato pancakes go particularly well with pork."  Comment from Taste of Home

Potato recipes always get my attention.  I've made potato pancakes and they are delicious and I love them as an appetizer or snack.  A good idea is to use leftover mashed potatoes instead of grated potatoes, but maybe they won't be as crispy.
